About South

Southern Mallorca can be experienced as a completely different world. The awe-inspiring mountains give way to wide open landscapes with beautiful panoramic views as far as the eye can see… & the time there goes just a little slower than the rest of the world, if you are trying to find a slice of paradise to relax then you need to venture here.

A very charming village in the suburb of Palma is Portixol, an old fishing village with a bohemian atmosphere has recently seen a resurgence, with cosy restaurants and cafes scattered around, it’s considered one of the trendiest villages in the South of Mallorca, it features a stunning promenade with a wide range of cuisine on offer.

What used to be fishermen’s cottages have been converted into state-of-the-art homes, so if you seek something traditional on the outside & modernised inside, then they are definitely worth looking at, they’re spectacular.

A few kilometres away, there are the beautiful long beaches of Can Pastilla, Playa de Palma and Arenal, despite the recent popularity flourish these beaches still remain quiet and hold their traditional vibe. During the summer the area completely changes with an influx of tourists, so you get an energetic bustling atmosphere. This influx is largely down to the area boasting some of the finest restaurants & bars in Mallorca.

You are still located relatively close to Palma itself so it will not take you long to reach the capital if you want to visit or stay close.
